The Medipally police have booked a woman for allegedly obtaining a Rs 10 lakh personal loan from the State Bank of India using forged salary slips and fabricated documents. The alleged fraud surfaced after the loan account turned into a Non-Performing Asset following repayment defaults.
K. Satish Chandra Gupta was arrested for allegedly being involved in forgery, cheating, and conspiracy, having collected Rs. 1.45 crore under the guise of selling plots in a fabricated and unauthorized layout.
Delhi Police Special Cell had served notice to two persons associated with the Indian National Congress to join inquiry when the complaint was submitted by the party.
