A major fire erupted at the City Center Mall in Mumbai Central area at 8.50 pm on Thursday.

It said up to 50 structures were destroyed and conditions remained "challenging" on Monday, with 11 helicopters and nine fire crews attempting to contain the flames.

Another 15 people were injured and taken to hospitals, where they were in stable condition, the official Xinhua News Agency said.
