The GHMC has rolled out a ‘One-Time Scheme’ (OTS) for property tax defaulters, offering a 90 percent waiver on accumulated interest. Taxpayers, including those from 27 newly merged Urban Local Bodies (ULBs), must pay the principal amount along with 10 percent of arrears interest in a single payment.
If the renewal was made between April 1 and May 30, there would be 25 per cent additional fee and from May 1, 50 per cent additional fee would be charged, informed the Commissioner
