Each committee will be chaired by either a Sarpanch or a Panchayat Special Officer at the Panchayat level, along with a Councillor or Corporator at the ward level. The committee will also include two women from SHGs, three local individuals—one from the BC community and one from either the SC or ST community—as well as the Panchayat Secretary and the Ward Officer.
Any orders issued by the government pertaining to nativity should protect the interests of local students but should not be detrimental to them, said CPI (M) State Secretary Tammineni Veerabhadram said.
