The TGPSC held the Group-I Main exam from October 21 to 27, 2024. Out of 31,403 candidates shortlisted based on the Group-I preliminary test results, 21,093 appeared for all the papers.
Several candidates who appeared for the examination conducted in 46 centres on Saturday reported that DI questions to be too lengthy besides requiring extensive calculations to arrive at the answers
A total of 31,403 candidates were picked for the Main examination and 21,817 students appeared for the test, translating attendance percentage to 69.4.
The bench, led by Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, noted that students had already arrived at examination centers and felt that issuing an interim order at this stage would cause "substantial dislocation" in conducting the exam, which the bench was unwilling to do.
The protesting youth warned that they would lay siege to Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s house and hold a peaceful demonstration if the Congress government in the State fails to resolve their issues.
