Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar assured that the Gruha Lakshmi and Gruha Jyoti welfare schemes will continue without interruption. He dismissed opposition rumours of discontinuation and said re-verification is being done to prevent misuse involving fake or ineligible beneficiaries
Addressing a gathering Ajay Kumar informed that additional 1, 000 Gruha Lakshmi houses have been sanctioned for Khammam Assembly constituency, thus 4,000 houses have been sanctioned under Gruha Lakshmi in the constituency.
In view of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao's announcement during his Independence Day address on Tuesday, Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao held a high-level review meeting on the distribution of 2BHK houses in Hyderabad limits on Wednesday.
