Apart from food processing units in every mandal, focus would be on construction of double bedroom houses, houses under Gruhalakshmi scheme and also housing sites for the needy.

KT Rama Rao said the State government was gearing up to distribute 13,300 more double bedroom houses from September 21.

In addition to this, Rs.3 lakh would be extended to eligible Chenchu families for construction of houses under the Gruhalakshmi scheme.

As per the GO, the houses will be sanctioned in the names of women and the beneficiaries will be permitted to adopt their own design type to build the house

The Gruhalakshmi scheme scheme was designed to grant Rs 3 lakh to homeless people to help them build a house on their own land
