A 15-year-old boy in Gurugram stabbed a seven-year-old child to death with scissors after the latter revealed a phone theft. The victim’s body was found along the KMP Expressway. The accused has been apprehended and faces juvenile justice proceedings.
The accused has been identified as Sonu, a resident of Jakholi village in Kaithal district, according to police. The incident occurred late Friday night when a crime unit team was conducting vehicle checks in the Sector 9 area. When the police signalled a Creta car to stop, the driver fled through the checkpoint. The police pursued the vehicle, and during the chase, the driver opened fire, injuring a policeman by striking their car, as per a senior police officer.
