Amateur radio operators in Guntur district had an exciting time attending a workshop organised by AARA for the benefit of rookie ham operators. Pavan Kumar, a young Ham operator from Vijayawada died of injuries he suffered in an accident. He was in coma for over three weeks after he suffered a serious head injury in a road accident.

He was a well-known person among the amateur radio operators and was always keen to share his knowledge with other ham operators.
