The Hare Krishna Movement Charitable Foundation (HKMCF) has signed an MoU with the ICAR–Indian Institute of Millets Research (IIMR), Hyderabad, to promote millet-based food initiatives. The foundation currently partners with state governments in public feeding programmes, serving 2.5 lakh meals daily.
The sponsorship is expected to strengthen Foundation's efforts in augmenting the kitchen capabilities in serving food to the needy by implementing programs like Annapurna, Bhojanamrita, Saddimoota, and Swasthya Aharas, a statement said.
