Senior IPS officer V.C. Sajjanar assumed charge as Hyderabad City Police Commissioner on Tuesday. A 1996-batch officer, Sajjanar has served in key law enforcement roles including Cyberabad Commissioner and OCTOPUS chief, and is widely known for his decisive policing style.
