Every year, many individuals are migrating from various parts of the state to foreign countries, with a significant number coming from the erstwhile Karimnagar district. In addition to education, many are specifically seeking employment opportunities in Gulf countries.
At present, the format, size, pattern, colour etc. of the IDP issued is differing across states in India. Due to this many citizens were facing difficulties with their respective IDP in foreign countries
It is proposed that citizens can apply for renewal through the Indian Embassies/ Missions abroad, from where these applications would move to the VAHAN portal in India
Amendment facilitates such citizens to apply through the Indian Embassy/Mission abroad portals, and applications would then move to the VAHAN for being considered by the respective RTOs
