Kakatiya University has proposed a Rs 331.99 crore budget for the financial year 2026–27, with major allocations towards salaries, pensions, examinations, and development initiatives. The university anticipates a deficit of Rs 2.16 crore.

KU Vice-Chancellor Prof Thatikonda Ramesh said K-Hub was being set up at a cost of Rs.15 crore from the Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA)

Speaking to Telangana Today, Registrar Prof K Purushotham said, “We are going to establish an Incubation Centre and Career Hub (K-HUB) besides getting the equipment for the labs.
