Thousands of devotees visited the historic Yellamma Temple in Balkampet, Hyderabad, on Tuesday for the annual Kalyanotsavam. The two-day event includes Rathotsavam and drew crowds from nearby districts. Police and government officials ensured arrangements and security for the devotees

The temple executive officer L Rama Devi informed that the celebrations would take place from April 9 to 23.

CM KCR on Wednesday sanctioned Rs.50 crore towards development works in Banswada Assembly constituency from the Chief Minister's Special Fund.

The State government has put in place elaborate arrangements for the smooth conduct of the festivities.
