The presence of mind of an intelligence constable’s wife helped trace a seventh-grade student who left his Gurukul hostel without informing authorities. The boy was safely reunited with his family, and the couple was later felicitated by senior officials.
The project was taken up by Bengaluru based Center for Symbiosis of Technology, Environment and Management, (STEM) in consortium with AARVEE Associates, Hyderabad, as the lead.
Interestingly, of the five kilometres stretch, three kilometres fall in Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka’s Madhira constituency and two kilometres in Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy’s Palair constituency
The department earned revenue of over Rs 197 crore in the year 2023-24 from land registrations while in the previous year the revenue was over Rs 227 crore.
