Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation will conduct ‘Project Udvasana’, a drive to collect sacred waste materials such as old idols and pictures, on August 8 across temples in Malkajgiri, Uppal, and LB Nagar zones. Citizens can deposit items at designated temples, while volunteers can register online.
The GHMC will begin a special sanitation drive from December 29 under the supervision of 12 Zonal Commissioners and 60 Deputy Commissioners. Commissioner RV Karnan, while reviewing sanitation works in Secunderabad, directed officials to resolve long-pending issues and focus on garbage hotspots.
