The company said that over the next month, Search will start to show relevant content in supported Indian languages where appropriate, even if the local language query is typed in English.
Instituted by the Parag initiative of Tata Trusts, this was the fifth edition of the Big Little Book Award. The chosen language this year was English. In the previous years, the award considered children's literature in Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, and Kannada.
Currently available for Android smartphones, the browser is a revamped version of JioBrowser which has already been downloaded over 10 million times from Google Play Store.
