The Telangana government has amended the RFP conditions for a Rs 1,341.60 crore streetlight maintenance project covering GHMC, CMC and MMC limits. The revised norms extend LED replacement timelines, relax bidder eligibility criteria and reduce the solvency certificate requirement

Ahead of GHMC elections, the MA&UD Department has issued a government order granting higher Transferable Development Rights for lands affected by lakes, rivers and nalas. The move offers compensation ranging from 200 to 400 per cent of built-up area surrendered.

The department has shortlisted 140 lakes that would be included the lake rejuvenation programme.

A deadline of four weeks has been given to illegal dog breeders to get themselves registered with the Telangana State Animal Welfare Board (TSAWB)
