Medak Cathedral Church, over 100 years old, has been decorated for Christmas celebrations. Devotees from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and other regions attended. Hotels are fully booked, traders have set up stalls, and children enjoy rides and festive activities.
Addressing the gathering after offering prayers at Medak church on the occasion of Christmas on Wednesday, the Chief Minister said the poor Christians were also benefitting from the free 200 units of power supply.

The cathedral is awe-inspiring for its beauty, particularly the 175-foot spire that is one of the tallest churches in India. The style of architecture that inspired this church was European architectural style, giving it a look that is unique and majestic.
Following his visit to the church, the Governor met with the students of Kolparam Girls' Social Welfare Gurukulam. He inquired about their living conditions and the facilities provided to them, before joining them for lunch. The Governor also directed the officials to ensure that the children's routine was not disrupted and to focus on their welfare.
