An 18-year-old first-year B.Tech student from Srinidhi College died after a speeding motorcycle skidded in Medipally on Sunday. The victim, Hasini, was travelling with her friend Akshay, who sustained serious injuries. Police said the bike was being ridden at high speed.
The 27-year-old who was studying mechanical engineering second year at a private college in Narapally was allegedly addicted to psychotropic substance and received treatment at a rehabilitation centre for some time.
