Three youngsters from Adilabad were killed and another was critically injured when their car overturned on NH44 near Tharoda village in Jainath mandal early Wednesday. Police said the vehicle turned turtle after the driver lost control at a curve.
A container lorry travelling from New Delhi to Bengaluru skidded off an NH-44 bridge across the Haldi Vagu near Toopran. The driver and his assistant survived with minor injuries. Police registered a case, and both were shifted to the Toopran government hospital
A major pile-up on NH-44 near Chandrayanpalli village in Nizamabad district left over a dozen people injured. Two trucks and three cars were involved in the crash. Miraculously, all passengers, including a motorcyclist, sustained only minor injuries.
