The IMD has warned of heavy to very heavy rains across Telangana from September 25 to 28 due to a Bay of Bengal depression. Orange alerts are in place for 11 districts. Thunderstorms and winds are also expected in some areas

However, an orange heat wave alert was also issued for 17 districts which are expected to experience temperatures between 41 and 44 degree Celsius

Maximum temperatures may reach 44 degree Celsius everyday between Friday and Monday

A yellow alert has been issued for the next three days indicating heavy rains. And orange alert indicating very heavy rains is issued at many places in the state on August 31 and September 1.
