QR code-based payments have been introduced at 19 toll plazas on Hyderabad’s Outer Ring Road, enabling digital transactions alongside FASTag, as part of the Centre’s push for cashless toll collection and improved traffic flow.
A tragic road accident at Pahadishareef on Hyderabad’s outskirts claimed three lives and left one teenager injured on Wednesday morning. The collision occurred between two motorcycles travelling in opposite directions.
The incident occurred when one of the cars involved in the crash which was proceeding from Tukkuguda in Maheshwaram towards Wanaparthy via Shamshabad, went out of control and collided with two other cars.
The youngster, K.Mahender (25), who lived with his family at Pedda Golconda, was reportedly upset over financial constraints and the ill health of his father.
