A 33-year-old man was allegedly shot dead while returning from a friend’s birthday party in Uttar Pradesh’s Etawah district. Police said his family suspected the killing stemmed from a dispute with relatives over alleged electricity theft from public transmission lines
According to the officials, a TGSPDCL team went to conduct inspection for power theft at the Guntal Baba Darga area in Vattepally following instances of meter tampering and power theft.
