According to the prosecution, Sai Anvesh set a B.Sc final year student of Vaagdevi Degree and PG College, ablaze when she turned down his proposal for marriage.
The deceased was identified as Dasaram Anjamma. It is learnt that Anjamma, while making tea in the morning, mixed the pesticide granules in water mistaking it for tea powder.
In a statement, Cherla police stated that the arrested persons were identified as Madakam Kesa and Karatam Srinu of Ramachandrapuram village of Cherla mandal
