Traffic police booked a youth and seized his scooter during a special drive in Banjara Hills after he was caught riding without a visible number plate. Police later found the plate hidden inside the vehicle and discovered 23 pending challans.
According to Mattewada police, the gang used to purchase expensive cars on loans and transport it to Mumbai, where it was sold by the gang members to prospective clients after changing their registration numbers.
