The orders were issued in accordance with Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao's announcement to implement the EWS reservations, as per the 103rd amendment to the Indian Constitution in 2019 by the Centre.
"There is a need to implement 10 per cent reservation for EWS in education and jobs even as the government continues with the existing reservations for different sections of society," he said
