The Prohibition and Excise Department in Hyderabad seized 91 bottles of liquor being smuggled into the city from Goa, Ahmedabad and Rajkot. A case has been registered against those involved in smuggling.
Hyderabad: City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar on Tuesday invoked the PD Act against Dandugula Mohan (43), against whom a rowdy sheet is maintained at the Tukaram Gate police station. Mohan, who is currently lodged in Chanchalguda jail, was involved in several cases and was arrested in December last year.
