Due to severe cold wave conditions in Telangana, the teachers’ union has urged authorities to delay school start times in social welfare residential schools, citing health risks to students, especially those staying in hostels.
The Adilabad district administration has revised school timings for primary and upper primary schools in view of severe cold conditions, with classes to begin later in the morning to ensure students’ safety.
In view of severe cold weather conditions, the Collector of Kumram Bheem Asifabad district has revised the timings of primary and upper primary schools. The order, issued on Monday, aims to safeguard students’ well-being.
According to the order, the schools would open at 9.40 am instead of 9.15 am and conclude at 4.30 pm in place of 4.15 pm in order to ensure safety and wellbeing of students.
