Folk singer Mangli lodged a complaint at Panjagutta police station alleging extortion and harassment by an advocate. The case comes amid a counter-complaint filed earlier against her, with police investigating mutual allegations involving financial disputes and threats.
Singer Mangli and advocate Subba Rao have filed complaints against each other in Hyderabad, alleging fraud and harassment. Subba Rao accused Mangli of cheating him of Rs 10 crore in a microfinance scheme, while Mangli claimed the lawyer was spreading false allegations of a Rs 150 crore fraud and threatening to defame her.
