Panic spread in Chekkapalli village in Telangana’s Sircilla district after locals reported seeing a tiger crossing a road at night. Forest officials are checking CCTV footage and searching for pugmarks. Leopard attacks in nearby areas have also raised concerns.
A 22-year-old man from Karimnagar district died after falling into a pothole near Mamidipally in Sircilla district. The damaged road had caved in due to rains and heavy traffic. Police have registered a case following a complaint from the family.
