Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara has urged the SIT to expedite its probe into the Dharmasthala “murders, rapes, and burials” case. He said FSL reports are awaited, while searches have recovered skeletal remains. The SIT continues its investigation independently

Human skeletal remains were found in a locked house near Nampally market, Hyderabad, on Monday. The house had reportedly been shut for over seven years. Police have launched an investigation and are yet to confirm the identity or cause of death.

The man was suspected to be aged between 50 and 60 years. The police said he could have died about six months ago

The man, who was yet to be identified, was aged about 45 years, police said, adding that he could have died a fortnight ago.
