The Telangana High Court has directed the State Government to file an affidavit by February 24 on adopting a draft Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for police during rescue operations of sex trafficking victims.
Hyderabad police will treat food adulteration cases on par with attempt to murder, Commissioner of Police VC Sajjanar said. A joint task force, new SOP and public helpline are being planned to curb the adulteration mafia and protect public health.
According to the procedure, villagers are advised not to use forest footpaths. They are also not to raise objections to gates set up by the Forest department along routes passing through forests. The government has cut the approval time for electricity connection for electric vehicle charging stations to three days for metropolitan areas from seven days earlier and seven days in municipal areas from 15 days.
The top court administration had said until further order, entry into the High Security Zone through proximity cards/long term passes shall be kept suspended.
