GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan inaugurated the Indie Puppy Adoption Fair at Jalagam Vengalrao Park, urging adopters to treat native puppies as family. Of the 39 healthy puppies showcased, 24 were adopted. The fair promoted the slogan “Adopt, Don’t Shop.”
The street dog adoption concept initiated by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) to check the street dog menace in the city, has been receiving a good response from the citizens.
