The municipal elections in erstwhile Medak district have left both the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and Congress short of majority in five municipalities, making the BJP a decisive player despite winning fewer wards.
BRS leaders organised a massive protest across Medak against Congress's failure to release Rythu Bharosa, burning Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's effigy.
BRS leader Sunitha Lakshma Reddy appealed to the Commission to take up suo moto issues such as attack on the two women journalists at Kondareddypalli and stand up in support of women in the State.
