Parents of students at Mandal Parishad Primary School in Kandikatkur, Illanthakunta mandal, staged a dharna demanding immediate appointment of teachers. With only three teachers for 85 students, one already transferred and another retiring soon, parents expressed concern over the academic future of their children.
Hyderabad: The State has achieved a near-zero overall dropout rate in primary schools in 2019-20, while the dropout rate in upper primary schools was negligible, at 0.06 per cent as of 2019-20.
