In an informal interaction with the media during his visit to Delhi, Revanth Reddy said the State Cabinet tasked poet Andesri with writing the anthem and he was the one who recommended Keeravani to compose the music.

Stating that the Chief Minister's stance is contradictory and foolish, he questioned the former's hatred towards the Kakatiya Thoranam and Charminar.

He is learnt to have suggested a few more changes to the emblem design which is likely to be released on June 2.
