The IMD-Hyderabad has forecast rain across all six zones of the city on June 1 and 2, predicting light to moderate showers or thunderstorms and cloudy skies.

Several areas including Kukatpally, Miyapur, Gachibowli, Maredpally, Patancheru and Khairatabad saw temperatures exceeding 40 degrees Celsius.

According to the Telangana State Planning and Development Society, most areas in the city received rainfall between 10 mm and 20 mm.
