According to the police, the man identified as Subash, a resident of Uppuguda, was going from Bahadurpura towards Shahalibanda when the tipper hit his scooter. He died on the spot.
Both the drivers of the motorcycle and tipper lorry fled from the spot after the accident. A case has been booked by the police and efforts are on to identify the vehicles. The body was shifted to the OGH mortuary.
