TTD officials have appealed to devotees to be alert and cautious while trekking on the Alipiri-Tirumala walkway and urged them to walk in groups only.

Reiterating that recommendation letters for special Darshanam would not be considered during the 10 days, TTD EO said that tickets will be issued only to the individuals who fall under the protocol guidelines.

Devotees are advised to book tickets and rooms through the official website.

In a "Dial Your EO" program at Annamayya Bhavan in Tirumala, Reddy said that 4.25 lakh time slot sarva darshanam tickets will be issued on 22nd December  at 100 counters in 9 centers in Tirupati.

Reddy added that some devotees are calling the call centers and sending emails to the authorities without verifying this information. He urged devotees to check their bank statements and contact the authorities only if the entire caution deposit amount is not refunded.

Devotees were permitted to offer their prayers starting from 5 am.
