A microphone failure during Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s programme in Uppal on Sunday forced BRS MLA Bandari Lakshma Reddy to abandon his speech midway. The incident triggered a political row, with BRS accusing the ruling Congress of deliberately silencing the Opposition.
In a letter to BRS Chief K Chandrashekhar Rao, the former MLA said despite the BRS leadership fielding Bandaru Laxma Reddy from Uppal constituency, all efforts were put in to ensure his victory.
