A major water pipeline between Singapur and Khanapur burst near Bulkpur village early Monday, disrupting water supply to several areas in Hyderabad’s western suburbs. HMWSSB officials have begun emergency repairs and arranged tanker supply for affected residents.
Water supply in several parts of Hyderabad will remain disrupted until November 13 evening due to a major leak in the Krishna Phase-II pumping main pipeline. The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) said the leak occurred following a power outage at the Kodandapur Water Treatment Plant.
