The water supply will be disrupted in some parts of the city on December 15 due to emergency repairs taken up for the damaged 33-inch pipeline supplying water from Asif Nagar Filter Beds to the Red Hills Reservoir

Hyderabad: The water supply will be disrupted in some parts of the city on December 15 due to emergency repairs taken up for the damaged 33-inch pipeline supplying water from Asif Nagar Filter Beds to the Red Hills Reservoir.

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) in a press release said the areas affected by water supply interruption include Red Hills, Bazaar Ghat, Mallepally, Seetarambagh, Nampally Railway Station, Nilofer Hospital, MNJ Cancer Hospital, Yousufain Darga area, Ek Minar, part of Gunfoundry, Adarsh Nagar, BJR Nagar, Khairatabad, Mint Compound, Old CIB QTRS AC Guards apart from parts of Income Tax Quarters and Vijay Nagar Colony.

While informing that consumers will face disruption in supply, the water board urged them to use water sparingly.
