Karimnagar: Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar called upon government officials and public representatives to work together to take government welfare schemes into the public and develop Karimnagar parliament constituency on all fronts. He was speaking at the District Development and Monitoring Committee meeting here on Saturday.

The MP expressed his willingness to work for the implementation of the state and central government schemes in Karimnagar parliament constituency and assured to extend his support to get sanction more funds from the central government for the development of the segment.


Emphasizing the need to educate people about government schemes, Sanjay Kumar sought advice from the members for the successful implementation of government schemes. Advising the officials to monitor the implementation of schemes at gross root level, he wanted the officials to strive hard for successful implementation of schemes.

He advised the officials to educate the people to utilize both state and central government schemes. On the occasion, the MP enquired with officials about the implementation of various central government schemes. The Collector RV Karnan informed that adequate measures had been taken to check the spread of Corona virus and successfully completed 100 percent first and second douse of vaccination.

He appreciated district medical and health department, district praja parishad and district panchayat officials for their cooperation in successfully completing vaccination. Besides taking steps to control Covid, all arrangements have been made for corona positive patients in the district headquarters hospital. Two oxygen plants were established in the hospital to overcome oxygen shortage.

Talking about Karimnagar smart city works, Collector informed that works are being done on brisk note. Both state and central government schemes have been implemented successfully in the district, he said. Additional Collectors GV Shyamprasad Lal and Garima Agarwal, DRDO Srilatha, ZP CEO Pavan, DPO Veerabuchaiah, DMHO Dr Juveria, district welfare officer Padmavathi, DEO Janardhan Rao, hospital superintendent Ratnamala and others participated in the meeting.
