Task force seizes 11 kg ganja, two arrested at IS Sadan

The Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force arrested two men at IS Sadan and seized 11 kg of ganja worth Rs 5.5 lakh. Police said the contraband was sourced from Nagpur. Three others, including a juvenile, are absconding.

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force team caught two persons at IS Sadan on Sunday and seized 11 kilograms of ganja valued at Rs 5.50 lakh from them.

The apprehended persons are Syed Firdous (31) and Mohammed Khadar (46).

According to the police, Mohammed Khadar, along with a juvenile, purchased 13 kilograms of ganja from someone in Nagpur and brought it to the city. On Sunday, when Khadar, along with Firdous, were on their way to hand it over to local customers, they were caught.

Efforts are on to nab three persons, including the juvenile boy, who are absconding.
