The Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force arrested two men at IS Sadan and seized 11 kg of ganja worth Rs 5.5 lakh. Police said the contraband was sourced from Nagpur. Three others, including a juvenile, are absconding.

IS Sadan police arrested a car driver in Hyderabad for possessing 45 kg of ganja worth Rs 11.25 lakh. The contraband was allegedly brought from Odisha. A case has been registered under the NDPS Act; one suspect is absconding

On being alerted the IS Sadan police reached the place and after inspecting the ATM centre closed it down.

According to the police, the truck driver Prithviraj, a native of Suryapet had hit an auto rickshaw at Chandrayangutta and for fear of being attacked tried to speed away.

Based on a complaint, the police registered a case and arrested the eight persons. Efforts are on to nab Salahuddin who is absconding.
