Tata Advanced Systems’ gesture to Rachakonda Police

TAS donated two inflatable boats and 50 life jackets to Rachakonda cops; CP appreciated the gesture of Tata Advances Systems

Hyderabad: The Tata Advanced Systems (TAS) provided two inflatable boats and 50 life jackets, all worth Rs 5 lakh, to the Rachakonda Police here on Wednesday.

Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat appreciated the gesture of Tata Advances Systems and said the boats and life jackets would be helpful in times of emergency as seen during the recent floods that hit the city. The boats would scale up the rescue capabilities, reduce dependency on other agencies and the life jackets would be helpful to the police personnel during such operations.

The boats are inflatable and can carry eight to ten persons and specially selected police personnel would be trained on the lines of Disaster Response Force and utilised for rescue operations.
