TBGKS stages protest at Godavarikhani coal mine, demands monthly medical boards
TBGKS staged a protest at the 2-incline coal mine in Godavarikhani, demanding SCCL conduct monthly medical boards and provide jobs to children of medically invalid workers.

Peddapalli: Telangana Boggu Ghani Karmika Sangham (TBGKS) on Saturday staged a protest demonstration at 2-incline coal mine in Godavarikhani, demanding the Singareni management to conduct the medical board every month.
As part of the Singareni-wide protest, TBGKS activists led by its president Miryala Raji Reddy staged a protest by wearing black badges.
Speaking on the occasion, Raji Reddy demanded the SCCL management to give jobs to the children of workers declared medically invalid and conduct the medical board every month.
He urged the company to do justice to 2000 workers who are waiting for medical boards during the last two years. Management should withdraw its plans to abolish the medical board system and solve vigilance and wrong names issues.
Raji Reddy urged the government to pay Rs 50,000 crore pending bills to the SCCL. Later, they submitted a representation to the manager of the coal mine.
