Jogulamba Gadwal: A team from Kaloji Narayan Rao Medical University inspected the amenities for the proposed Nursing College being set up in the district headquarters and expressed satisfaction.
The State Government is setting up 13 nursing colleges across Telangana and measures were being taken to launch the nursing college at Jogulamba Gadwal shortly, said Professor Radha and Jagityala Nursing College principal Vidya Latha on Monday.
There is possibility of commencing the College from this year, they said. The University team inspected the classrooms, hostels, labs, location for constructing the college and other amenities.
The University team officials said in the United Andhra Pradesh, the government had neglected nursing education but Telangana Government has been according top priority to nursing education and was setting up more colleges.
