Telangana: 30 persons injured in Peddapalli honey bee attack

PEDDAPALLI: Nearly 30 persons were injured after honey bees went on a stinging spree in Manthani town on Tuesday morning.

The episode began when the bees, which emerged from the nearby trees, attacked a boy who was practising karate in the Junior college grounds. Other people who were present on the ground tried to rescue him. However, they were also attacked by the bees.


The bees then went on a stinging spree, injuring about 30 people including morning walkers, sportspersons and children. The injured persons were shifted to the Manthani government hospital.
